After many harvest during my college years, in the year 2000 I
had the privilege and oportunity to transform into a profession
what had been a passion....and my love story with wine begins..
Eight years working for a prestigious San Gimignano Cellar and
thanks to the owner I learn what it really means to become a
winemaker.
So that is how I met Vernaccia.
I understand from the start that the grapes on the vines are very
fussy and have particular needs but if treated with great care and
attention and precision they can give wonderful results and the
caracteristics typival of the Terroir of San Gimignano.
Zeta Project, my wine farm at Il Caggio with its beautiful red soil
surrounded by woods at only a few miles from San Gimignano, comes to be
In 2008 I start using the Biodynamic method especially on the Caggio Vineyard,
make my wine and bottle with my label.
As I am not inclined to compromises I want the only best, so I decide
that all three my Vernaccia's will be 100% Vernaccia and my reds 100% Sangiovese.
