I have always loved nature and animals and...wine! And when I moved from the north of Italy to this wonderful part of Tuscany I was running after my dream to own my own vineyard and produce my own wine.
Six years ago my friend Gianni -a wine maker of great prestige- called me down to San Gimignano to work in his cellar and day by day thanks to him and Salvatore our expert and consultant and good friend I was able to learn and make mine the secrets hiden in a bottle of good wine.
The fruits of our first harvest are two white wines,
Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2007, Impronta e Zeta
and two red wines Zingaro a Chianti
dei Colli Senesi 2007 and Sorriso a Rosso di
Toscana 2007.
These wines,I beleive,well represent the
terroir, traditions, the search for quality and passion
of wine making in Tuscany.
This year a new vineyard will be planted at Il Caggio,
in a beautiful red soil surrounded by woods.
On the other side of the big field on the edge of the forest live the pigs we raise, Cinta Senese a rare local breed and a little heard of friendly Camerun sheep and beehives that pruduce honey.
